My vision on
Mindfulness is a way of paying attention moment-to-moment to what's happening within and around us without judgment. I have had the honour to recently complete the Mindfulness Meditation Teacher Certification Program from Tara Brach and become a certified Mindfulness Meditation Teacher.
Mindfulness Meditation is all about a way of being and living that strengthens our ability to accept and be with what is. It asks us to suspend judgment and unleash our natural curiosity about the workings of the mind, approaching our experience with warmth and kindness, to ourselves and others.
It helps us not only in our personal growth and transformation, it affects the life of everyone around us. My passion for this work is deeply rooted in the belief that mindfulness and compassion offers a powerful transformative medicine.

Mindfulness is the basic human ability to be fully present, aware of where we are and what we’re doing, and not overly reactive or overwhelmed by what’s going on around us.
While mindfulness is something we all naturally possess, it’s more readily available to us when we practice on a daily basis.
Whenever you bring awareness to what you’re directly experiencing via your senses, or to your state of mind via your thoughts and emotions, you’re being mindful. The sole intention is to is to wake up to the inner workings of our mental, emotional, and physical processes.

How I apply Mindfulness Meditation in my work
In the trainings, workshops and practices the yin akademie offers, practices with mindfulness, body scans, movement, concentration, inquiry, open awareness, and meditations that awaken a compassionate heart are integrated.
We will practice awareness as it relates to our body and our feelings, emotions, mind states, social identity, and awareness itself. We learn how to expand the field of mindfulness to include wise relationships with others and the entire living world.
